Heres the homework due next thursday: www.seds.org/Maps/Stars_en/Fig/canismajor.htmlExplore around that page a little while, and answer the questions: One of the STARS in the constellation Canis Major is a star called Sirius. Find out what CANIS MAJOR means and tell me why Sirius Black's animeagoeus (spelling??) is a dog. Who's dog do astronomers think Canis Major is? BONUS QUESTION!!! What is the brightest STAR in the night sky?
